En los primeros días de junio de 1933 se celebraron las fiestas de inauguración del Hogar Vasco de Logroño con gran brillantez, tomando parte la población, ya que se verificaron en la vía pública algunos de los actos de carácter vasco. Algunos de los actos los presidió el alcalde Sr. Gurrea.
