Municipio de la provincia de Zaragoza partido judicial de Daroca. Se originó por repoblación de navarros seguramente en el s. XII lo mismo que Villar de los Navarros quizá al resurgimiento de la parroquia de San Miguel de los Navarros en Zaragoza.
