Jugador y entrenador de balonmano. Su trayectoria deportiva se reduce al Anaitasuna, equipo navarro como el mismo Angel Hermoso, en el que comenzó jugando y al que luego dirigió durante siete años, retirándose de la División de Honor en 1975.
