Diputado general de Gipuzkoa, adjunto segundo en ejercicio, desde las Juntas de Elgoibar de julio de 1856. Fue reelegido en las Juntas de Deba de julio de 1857 y en las de Irun de julio de 1864. Se presentó por Gipuzkoa en las elecciones generales de 1867.
