Ataque a la Guardia Civil de Güeñes. El 23 de abril de 1872 comenzó la segunda guerra carlista. Una partida de 800 hombres, mandados por Cuevillas, ataca a 23 Guardias Civiles en una casa de Güeñes, teniendo éstos que rendirse.
