Dirigente socialista en Bizkaia, miembro de la Juventud Socialista. En 1904 organizó en Bilbao un Grupo Feminista con 150 afiliadas. Participó en la huelga general de julio de 1916 contra la carestía de la vida. Luego, fue una de las fundadoras del Partido Comunista Español.
