Periodista vizcaíno, natural de Bilbao, donde nació en 1929. Estudia Derecho y Filosofía y Letras en Deusto, Zaragoza y Madrid, donde también cursa la carrera de Periodismo. Director de la "Gaceta del Norte" (1973).
