Ideó la construcción de un nuevo santuario en San Miguel de Aralar más grandioso que el ya existente y de acuerdo con la nueva moda arquitectónica. El proyecto halló la mejor acogida en D. Pedro de Roda, obispo de Pamplona (1083-1115).
