Diputado general de Vizcaya los años 1796-8. Miembro de la conocida familia bilbaína de los Gardoqui. Solicitó para el Consulado bilbaíno el tratamiento de Señoría, empeño que coronó su hermano Diego el año 1791. Había sido Regidor oñacino los años 1766- 1768.
