Fortaleza. Al comienzo de la conquista de Navarra por Fernando el Católico, el ejército castellano del Duque de Alba ocupó la tarde del 22 de julio de 1512 la fortaleza de Garazón, para seguir camino, al día siguiente, hacia Pamplona.
