Arroyo afluente del río Barbadún por su margen izquierda. Nace a los 43° 19' 25" y 0° 35' 45" (Hoja n.° 61), a unos 100 m. de altura, en el término de Abanto y Zierbena (Bizk.), desembocando en el de Muskiz (Bizk.).
