Barranco afluente del río Elorz por su derecha, siéndolo éste a su vez del Arga. Nace a los 42º 45' 15'' y 2º 05' 10'' (Hoja nº 141), al N. del término de Elorz (Navarra), en la sierra de Tajonar, a unos 600m. de altura
