Kurtu. Apellido que quizá sea el mismo que se ve en la primera parte del apellido Gurtubai. En 1378 Lope de Curto era alcaide del castillo de Burgui, Navarra. La palabra kurtu significa en euskera, «inclinado hacia el suelo».
