Se halla en la provincia de Navarra, en el término municipal de Valcarlos. A 1.160 m. de altitud, esta importante depresión que forman las cumbres de Lauriñak y Lindux sirve de paso de los lugareños entre los valles de Valcarlos y Aldudes.
