Personaje legendario al que se le atribuye una victoria contra navarros y alaveses unidos en el año 842. El hecho habría ocurrido en Amorebieta, Bizkaia, de haber sido cierta la noticia que a lo sumo no puede pasar de ser un eco de viejas luchas entre vascos y astures.
