Militante nacionalista vasco vizcaíno nacido en Zamudio. Desempeñó diversos cargos en la Juventud Vasca y en los semanarios Patria y Aberri y el diario Euzkadi.
Fue represaliado tras la guerra civil de 1936-1939 con cárcel y destierro en Madrid.
