Acordeonista nacida en Ordizia, Gipuzkoa, en 1966. Estudia acordeón desde los siete años en su entorno ampliando estudios musicales en el Conservatorio Municipal de París. Ganó en 1988 la Copa Mundial de este instrumento en Trossingen (República Federal Alemana).
