Misionero jesuita navarro en el Brasil, nació en 1515. Se ordenó en 1544. Fue entre los primeros expedicionarios a las zonas mineras. Fue un activo misionero y escribió en la lengua de los indígenas algunos manuales de teología y moral y canciones. Murió en 1575.
