Arroyo alavés, afluente del río Baias a través del Ugalde. Nace a 720 metros de altitud al Sur de la localidad de Zarate, a los 42º 57´ 25´´ y 0º 54´ 05´´, en término de Zuia. Atraviesa Murgia.
