Eclesiástico guipuzcoano nacido el 5 de noviembre de 1933 en Azpeitia. Ingresó en la Compañía de Jesús en 1952, marchando a Venezuela en 1953. Toda su trayectoria transcurre en el Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola de Caracas del que fue Rector desde 1985 hasta 1992.
