Abogado. Estudió Derecho en Madrid y Pamplona, donde se licenció. Es experto en Derecho laboral. Desde el año 2000 es socio director del despacho de Cuatrecasas en Donostia-San Sebastián. En diciembre de 2002 fue elegido decano del Colegio de Abogados de Gipuzkoa.
