Personalidad guipuzcoana de entre los siglos XIX y XX. Fue presidente de la Junta de Gobierno y del Consejo de Administración de la Caja de Ahorros Provincial de Guipúzcoa entre 1896-1897 y 1908 y 1909. Fue elegido diputado provincial de Gipuzkoa en las elecciones del 24 de octubre de 1909.
