Río alavés, afluente del Zadorra por la izquierda. Su cabecera lo constituyen los arroyos de Armentia y Fuente Manturro, que confluyen a los 42º 50' 34'' y 0º 59' 23'', a 530 metros de altitud, en término de Vitoria-Gasteiz.
